Obituary of Hazel Chilson
Hazel (Perry) Chilson, age 90, of Arnot, PA, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at The Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born on January 17, 1930 in Arnot, a daughter of Andrew and Alice "Tilly" (Plaisted) Perry. Hazel was the wife of the late Paul Chilson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Arnot Sportsmen's Club. She had a passion for gardening, attending yard sales with her husband, reading, and raising a menagerie of animals from birds to a bobcat and coyotes. Her greatest loves were her husband and her daughter, second only to her love of the Lord. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she and Paul are finally reunited for eternity.
Hazel is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Charles) Stoops of Selinsgrove, PA; two granddaughters, Teresa Ann (Jeffrey Aaron) Barnham of Yeagertown, PA, and Jennifer Lynn (Jeffrey Allan) Gates of Mifflinburg, PA; a great granddaughter, Faith Lynn Elizabeth Hoar of Yeagertown, PA; and four sisters, Clara Seeley of Arnot, PA, Gladys (Chester) Mahosky of Arnot, PA, Ruth Ann Pettit of Arnot, PA, and Betty Moon of Marion, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
