Even though we lived far apart, Grandma Brion always made us feel loved and supported. On one of her visits when I was little, Grandma set my hair in curlers for my school pictures. As the years passed, I became so thankful for that memory and all those crazy curls in the school picture. When I was 17, I visited PA and she fed me so much that I gained 10lbs in a week!! Haha! And when she was 99, I visited her at the Green Home and felt so honored when she asked me to set her hair in curlers for dinner. She said she felt pretty and she really, really was. For her 100th birthday, I was able to introduce her to my husband and 3 children. She shared precious memories from her childhood with all of us. We were so blessed to have Grandma Brion for as long as we did. What a beautiful spirit. - Alison Kammerer

My condolences to the family of Eleanor Brion. I remember her as one of my mother’s bingo partners and she was always so kind to me when I visited her daughter Monica. I am sure she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Eleanor was the best neighbor we could have asked for. She always had a beautiful smile and just the sweetest person I knew. Visiting her was very special to me. Heaven sure gained one beautiful angel. Prayers for the family. RIP sweet Eleanor.

I've known Eleanor Brion, my mother-in-law for nearly 40 years now. She was the kindest and most gentle person I know. I cannot remember her ever having a harsh word for anyone. I loved her and will miss her.
