Obituary of Sharyl Austin

Sharyl M. Austin, age 56, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at her home. She was born on June 7, 1963 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Morgan and Bertha (Carson) Decker. Sharyl was the wife of Robert Austin, Sr. They would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on June 20, 2020. She worked as a caregiver for Woodbrook in Elmira, NY. Sharyl enjoyed camping, crafts, her grandchildren, and her dogs, Frog, Duck, and Kiro. Sharyl is survived by her husband; a son, Robert (Valene) Austin, Jr. of Millerton; a daughter, Crystal Deats of Millerton; a son in law, Mike Deats of Cameron, NY; nine grandchildren, Zack Deats, Trai Deats, Robert Austin III, Haley Deats, Hunter Austin, Ayden Deats, Coltin Austin, Rihanna Deats, and Mackenzie Austin; and a sister, Linda ("Buddy") Fleming of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Morgan Jr.; and a sister, Sharon. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
