Obituary of Charles Herbert Middaugh

Charles H. Middaugh, age 85, of Lawrenceville, PA, died on Monday, April 9, 2007 in the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. Charles was born on April 22, 1921 in Lawrenceville, PA, a son of Charles and Alida (Corwin) Middaugh. He and his wife, Adella Ruth (Orr) celebrated 59 years of marriage on January 11, 2007. Charles attended the old Middaugh School and served his country with the US Army Signal Corps during World War II in both France and Germany. He enjoyed his time as a farmer, a school bus driver for 21 years, employment with Youngs Mobil in Lawrenceville, PA, and as a welder for Eastern Metal in Elmira, NY. He was a member of the East Lawrence Baptist Church. Charles took pleasure in hunting, camping, driving school bus, delivering meals on wheels and spending time with his family. His spirit for life will live on in his family. In addition to his wife, Adella, Charles is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law
