Obituary of Elizabeth W. Brant
Elizabeth Betty Brant, age 85, of Lawrenceville, PA, died on Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. She was born on March 29, 1923 in Mosherville, PA a daughter of the late Homer and Anna Jane (Baumgartner) Wheeler. She was the wife of Bruce L. Brant who died on September 21, 2008. Betty was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Betty is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Sandra Brant of Tioga, PA; two daughters and a son-in-law, Barbara and Larry Bates of Addison, NY, Jan Brant of Mansfield, PA; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nellie Howe of Wellsboro, PA, Jerri and Don Congdon of Millerton, PA; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert E. and Lillian Wheeler of Lawrenceville, PA..
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Elizabeths daughter-in-law, the Rev. Sandra Brant, officiating. Burial will be in Powers Corners Cemetery, Rt. 49, Lawrenceville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bettys name to the American Heart Association, 613 Baltimore Dr., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702, or to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E.
