Eleanor married Gary and I fifty-one years ago. Since I was very young at the time the chances were great we wouldn't make it very long. Last year I had a chance to speak to her and told her we were going to celebrate our fiftieth, and asked her if she had thought at that time if we would stay together. I attend Canoe Camp church, so she had known us through those years. She just laughed, and said she had hoped we would. She was one of the finest role models for a young girl. We will miss her. Eleanor was presiding over a driver, a college student, when he stated that he didn't pass a stopped bus. She saw right through his excuse and realized he was 10 minutes from the college at 5 minutes of 8. He had to pay the fine. THANK YOU ELEANOR!
Love and prayers to her family.
