Obituary of Alan Hawn
Alan Hawn Jr., 40, of Mansfield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2020 at Troy Community Hospital with his father and mother, Alan and Nell Hawn, by his side. Alan was born on January 26, 1980 in Mansfield to Alan and Nell Hawn. He attended HMS School in Philadelphia, PA from age 3 ½ until age 20, afterwards graduating from Southern Tioga School District. Alan received services through Martha Lloyd Community Services for the past 18 years, during which he resided at the Martha Lloyd ICF/ID's Brooklyn Street home in Mansfield. Alan also attended Martha Lloyd's Day Program, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends and staff. Those who were fortunate enough to have known Alan will remember the special light that he brought to everyone's life. Alan loved making people smile and laugh, and would give a wink and blow a kiss to his friends at the end of every day. Alan will be deeply missed by all who knew and spent time with him. He is survived by his parents Alan and Nell Hawn, a brother, John (Gwyn), a very special teacher Ms. Mildred Reeves and many special friends. A private Celebration of Alan's Life will be held on February 6, 2020 at Martha Lloyd Community Services Day Program, Mansfield, PA. A Catholic Mass will also be held at the Holy Child Catholic Church Mansfield, PA at 6 pm on February 6, 2020.
