Obituary of Sidney "Bud" Dean Morse

Sidney "Bud" Dean Morse, age 70, of Tioga, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1949 in Corning, NY, a son of Burrell C. and Mabel (Thrall) Morse. Bud was a veteran and retired from the Marine Corps and the Navy. He was a member of the American Legion in South Corning and enjoyed gambling. Bud is survived by his sister Patricia Osgood of Corning, NY; brother and sister-in-law Burrell "Sonny" and Cindy Morse of Lindley, NY; sister and brother-in-law Carol and Vern Porter of Painted Post, NY; sister and brother-in-law Donna and Joe Wood of North Carolina; sister Charlotte Houghtaling of Addison, NY; brother Richard Morse of Tioga, PA; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law Hazel Morse of Lawrenceville, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Gary "Butch" Morse, and a brother-in-law Steaphen Houghtaling. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at the Bath National Cemetery. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
