I always thought of my cousin, Mary Jane, as a friend as well as a relative. She often babysat me as a boy and was always very good to me. Once I missed my bus from Jackson Summit to Millerton and Mary Jane jumped in her car and we went like crazy down the road and she caught up with the bus.
