Obituary of Ben Patrick Welch

Ben Patrick Welch, age 28, of Canton, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2019. He was born on June 13, 1991 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of Donald Welch and Teresa (Moshier) Ricigliano. For many years Ben worked in the gas and oil fields, and he was currently employed by Jeld – Wen. He enjoyed being a dad and cars. Ben is survived by his father, Donald Welch of Lawrenceville, PA; his mother and step father, Teresa and Rex Ricigliano of Mt. Morris, NY; a son, Tank Welch of Troy; a daughter, Ember Welch of Troy; a sister, Hailey Welch of Lawrenceville, PA; maternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Moshier of Dade City, FL; and paternal grandmother, Betty Jean Welch of Covington. Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 1:00-2:00pm at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00pm with Pastor Guy Thompson officiating. Burial will take place in Tioga County Memorial Gardens.
