Obituary of Lois "Kitti" Dickinson
Lois "Kitti" Dickinson, age 80, of Covington, PA, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her home. She was born on July 1, 1939 in Wellsville, NY, the daughter of Harland Halladay and Phyllis (Denhoff) Benson. Kitty was the wife of Sherman Dickinson, with whom she shared over 7 years of matrimony. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and loved traveling, spending time with her family and going out to eat.
Kitty is survived by her husband; son Claire "Tikie" Van Scoyt of Williamsport, PA; son and daughter-in-law Bradley and Arriana Mitchell of Blossburg, PA; daughter and son-in-law Jamie and Robert Eck of Buffalo, NY; daughter and son-in-law Bubbles and Buddy Heim of Williamsport, PA; daughter Debbie Smith of Galeton, PA; daughter and son-in-law Honi and John Frith of Covington, PA; stepchildren Rodney and Christina Dickinson, both of FL; brothers Roland and Eddie Halladay of FL; brother Robert Kemp of Mainesburg, PA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Harland Halladay and daughter Tonya Faulkner.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 39 Kingdom Lane, Mansfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kitty's name to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
