Obituary of Alice Piontek

Alice C. Piontek, age 49, of Blossburg, PA, died Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Alice was born on November 16, 1965 in Blossburg, PA, the daughter of Asa Johnson and Sandra (Frost) Sumner. Alice was employed as a cashier at the Acorn Market in Blossburg, PA. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren, going to the beach and fishing. She is survived by 2 daughters; Ashley Gleason of Mainesburg, PA, and Jamie Gleason of Wentworth, NH; 3 grandchildren, Isaac, Dominic, and Elliana; a brother, Kevin Johnson of Mansfield, PA; a sister, Lesa Johnson of Mansfield, PA. In keeping with Alice's wishes there will be no services. A memorial dinner will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with the funeral expenses. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc., 637 S.
