Obituary of Thomas W. Montgomery

Thomas Montgomery, age 75, of Wellsboro, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 6, 1944 in Elmira, NY. Thomas was married to Phyllis Ewald. He formerly owned the John Deere Dealership. Thomas enjoyed tinkering on garden tractors and spending time at church events. Thomas is survived by his wife; two sons, Christopher (Nicki Godson) of Wellsboro, and Jason Montgomery of Watrous; and six sisters, Carolyn, Wilda, Penny, Dianne, Daisy and Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Keith; and a sister, Betty. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Pine Creek Valley United Methodist Church 761 Route 6, Gaines, PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
