Obituary of Carlton McClain

Carlton Jim McClain, Jr., age 46, of Millerton, PA, died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Carlton was born November 30, 1961 in Canandaigua, NY, a son of Carlton and Mabel (Boop) McClain, Sr. Jim and Lisa would have celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary on Monday, September 29, 2008. He was a mechanic. Was a member of the North American Hunting Club. Jim is survived by wife, Lisa (Bolt) McClain; sons, Carl and Justin McClain of Burdette, NY, Douglas and Patrick McClain of Millerton, PA; a daughter Katie McClain of Burdette, NY; father, Carlton and step mother Cindy McClain of Branchport, NY, two grandchildren, Karmin McClain and Hannah Yawl; brothers and sister-in-law, Mark McClain of Himrod, NY and Bruce (Katina) McClain of Dundee, NY; sisters and brother-in-law, Peggy (Cliff) Perry of Watkins Glen, NY, Julie (Steve) Bayer of New Port News, VA, Missy (Gene) Irwin of Himrod, NY; mother-in-law, Fran Bolt of Millerton, PA and uncle, Loren Oopie Cornish of Millerton, PA. Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy McClain and his mother, Mabel (Boop) McClain. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 12 (Noon) to 2 PM at The Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory and Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 2 PM with the Pastor Laurie Greenlaw officiating.
