Obituary of David Scott Sakers

David Scott Sakers, age 53, of Roaring Branch, PA, died on Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born on October 22, 1953 in Virginia. He was the son of Jack and Marcia (Whipple) Randall. David was married to LuAnn (Guthrie) Sakers for 21 years. David was formerly employed in farming for Marshall Brothers, Liberty, PA, and as an operator for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. David was a 1971 graduate of Canton High School. He was treasurer of the FFA, a member of the National Rifle Association and North Union Christian Church. His favorite pastimes were: hunting and shooting with his son, auto painting and body work, his time as a Boy Scout, and keeping in touch with friends and former coworkers.
