Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss. I met you and Marty at Broad Acres where Marty shared a room with my dad Ernie or “old man” as Marty liked to call him. Marty and I spent day after day chatting and watching TV together as my dad slept. Months later, they ended up at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in rooms next to each other. What a small world. Marty was a wonderful man and I often thought about him and smiled at the laughs we shared. My dad passed away on May 6th so now they are both at peace. My sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Marty was our neighbor my whole life, I always enjoyed visiting with him. During hunting season he was often in a hut that, I think, was built for his Dad. We would offer try to push deer his way, tho in later years he had trouble seeing and hearing. I am sure that his spirit will be there in the woods! Rest in peace, our friend. Kathy and Marwin.

Marty has been in our family a long time. We will all miss him very much. I will miss his ready smile and playful jab on my arm when we see each other. My husband and Marty became close over the past few years. They have shares plenty of stories about farming, tractors, 4-wheeling and hunting and fishing. Rest in Peace Marty.....

I’m really going to miss the little conversations. He was an amazing person and wonderful Dad and Grandpa. My family will always have fond memories of dad and will miss him dearly.
I love you Mom. We will get through this together.
