Obituary of Darlene Loud

Darlene F. Loud, age 90, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Elcor Nursing Home. She was born on March 15, 1929 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Ralph "Happy" and Isadore (Spencer) Day. Darlene was the wife of the late Daniel Loud who died on November 15, 1995. She was employed at the Don Gill Elementary School as a custodian. Darlene enjoyed crocheting and fishing. She was a former member of the Order of the Women of the Moose and Wellsboro VFW. Darlene is survived by a son, Leslie Loud of Millerton, PA; a daughter, Linda (Fordy) Copp of Texarkana, TX; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; a half- sister, Maxine Englert of Millerton, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son, Daniel Loud; two brothers, Durward and Daryl Day. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2PM to 3PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
