Obituary of Patrick Timothy McLaughlin

Patrick "Timothy" McLaughlin, age 63, of Shunk, PA, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019 on Route 414 in Roaring Branch, PA. He was born on August 21, 1955 in Clearfield, PA, a son of John McLaughlin and Mary (Elbell) McLaughlin. Tim was the husband of the late Gertrude "Kitty" McLaughlin. He was a water company truck driver and a veteran of the US Navy having served 19 years, including during the Vietnam War. Tim was a member of the American Legion Post #0945 in Canton, PA and an NRA member. Tim is survived by his sisters Paula (Ted) Bowser of Lake Mary, FL, Susan Hamilton of Trout Run, PA, Julie (Bob) McDonald of Jacksonville, FL; a brother Jeremy McLauglin of Canada; several nieces and nephews; 3 grandchildren Debbie, Dal, Jennifer; and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother James McLaughlin and sister Lisa Baker. In keeping with Tim's wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to a charity of one's choosing. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family.
