I just have to say you couldn't ask for a better next door neighbor ..... so much more than a neighbor ... more like family . Gerry and Joanne followed my kids right through school , college, and after college.... just like grandparents . Always wanting to know what they're doing , where they are ..... Gerry was just the best ... if we went on vacation for a week we never had to worry about the chickens , ducks or cats ...he was right there to feed and water ....collect the eggs ... anything . Lucy and Trudy gave up barking at him because they knew that was "only Gerry" .... Our simple conversations at the mailbox were always a welcome event after a long day at work. Bad roads and my dog sitters couldn't make it to the house ....one quick call and leave message and I knew they were in good hands . Just watching his strong work ethic from across the road made me strive to get things done and keep things looking good . When I lost Judy there was no doubt in my mind he knew the pain I felt .... You will be missed "neighbor" .....
