Obituary of Ruth Feijo

Ruth "Elaine" Feijo, age 84, of Nelson, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Corning Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1934 in Little Marsh, PA, a daughter of Waymon "Bill" and Cleo (McVannon) Ling. Prior to her retirement Ruth was employed at Corning Glass. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking, and singing, bird watching, cruises, and was always looking out for those who were less fortunate. Ruth is survived by a son, Freddie Day of Shippensburg, PA; two daughters, Misty (Stephen) Stanley of Tioga, PA, Donna J. Day of Beaver Dams, NY; two grandchildren, Emily Rose Day Gilbert, Alaina Lynn Stanley; a brother, Terry Southard of Tioga, PA; three sisters, Donna Southard of Westfield, PA, Shirley (John) Taft of Tioga, PA, Patricia (Rick) Stafford of VA; a sister-in-law, Marylynne Rothwell of Tioga, PA; her four spoiled Yorkies. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son; three brothers, Bill Ling, Alan Ling, Eugene Southard. Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, February 9, 2019 from noon to 1 pm at the Lawrenceville Fire Hall, 9 Mechanic St., Lawrenceville, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to a Food Pantry of your choice.
