Obituary of Betty Gill
Betty Gill, 85, of Mansfield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2018 with her nephew Dave, his wife Debbie, and her Martha Lloyd family by her side throughout the day. Betty was born on October 28, 1933 in Mansfield, PA to Cecil and Elizabeth Hatcher Gill. Betty received services through Martha Lloyd Community Services for 25 years, the past 6 of which she resided at Martha Lloyd, ICF/ID's Brueilly home. Betty attended Martha Lloyd's Day Program in Mansfield, PA, where she loved spending time with all of her friends. Those who were fortunate enough to have known Miss Betty were able to experience the special sparkle she brought to life. She enjoyed working on puzzles and matching games, and was known for her affinity for beautiful jewelry, hair accessories, and pretty shoes. Betty was a very caring individual who always wanted to make people smile and had many funny nicknames for staff. Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her parents and 4 brothers; Francis, Wallace, Harry, Clarence, and 5 sisters; Margete Thompson, Ola Colby, Clara Gill, Janice Johnston, Marion Rice. A private celebration of Betty's life will be held on December 26, 2018 at Martha Lloyd.
