Obituary of Barbara Ann Lisowski
Barbara Ann Lisowski, age 85, of Covington, PA, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on April 22, 1933 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Raymond and Vera (Clark) Jones. She was the wife of the late Joseph S. Lisowski who died in 1975. Barbara and her husband, Joseph, operated the family farm for many years. She later retired from Keystone Manufacturing in Covington, PA. Barbara's greatest love was her family. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, flowers, crocheting, animals, and dancing the polka.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Hudson of Blossburg, PA, Joan (Bruce) Lisowski-Hoyt of Mainesburg, PA; two sons, Stanley (Cindy) Lisowski of Covington, PA, Stuart (Lek) Lisowski of Covington, PA; eight grandchildren, Jason Kuzneski, Beth (Brad) Weiskopff, Amanda Harkness, Justin (Bonnie) Hoyt, Joseph T. (Renee) Lisowski, Matthew W. (Tonya) Lisowski, Melissa (Jessie Bolt) Cook, Joshua (Jennifer) Lisowski; thirteen great grandchildren, Brittany Weiskopff, Courteney Weiskopff, Cordeelya Harkness, Brayden Lisowski, Evan Lisowski, Alivia Lisowski, Owen Lisowski, Benjamin Cook, Emma Cook, Madelyn Cook, Ian Lisowski, Nolan Lisowski, and Aylah Lisowski; a sister, Rhoda Grabowski of Rochester, NY; a brother, Raymond George Jones of Rochester, NY; a brother-in-law, Tom Ridge of Covington, PA; a sister-in-law, Marion Watkins of Covington, PA; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Blossburg, PA with Rev. Bryan Wright as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Blossburg, PA.
