Obituary of Yvonne M. Hamblin

Yvonne "Bonnie" Hamblin, age 83 of Mansfield, PA, passed away at the Samaritan House, Wellsboro, PA on November 6, 2018. Bonnie was born in Blossburg, PA on October 17, 1935, a daughter of Lawrence and Annettie (Niles) Wilbur. She received her optician's license in 1990 and worked as an optician at Dr. Roffi's in Virginia. She attended Middlebury Baptist Church and enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing cards, music, and traveling. Bonnie is survived by daughters Koleen (Timothy) Short of Lawrenceville, PA and Marilyn (Jerald) Wetherbee of Mansfield, PA; son Rick (Kim) Hamblin of Virginia; She is also survived by grandchildren Misti Warriner, Dawn (Nate) Hilfiger, Kori Warriner, Kyle Short, Amanda Keck, Rebekah(Jason) Vandergrift, Jeremy (Natosha) Wetherbee, Matthew Hamblin and Campbell (Jessica) Haden, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bert Hamblin in 2010, her parents, and 10 brothers and sisters. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. to noon with a memorial service at noon at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Pastor Sandy Hemker will officiate.
