So sorry to hear about Carl. He loved to pick! Great guy and always willing to help others. I know my parents were always very fond of him as well:) They couldn't have had a better neighbor!

Blood does not make someone a father, it is their desire and commitment to taking on the role. I hope Carl knows that he is truly appreciated for doing this and never leaving. He always did the best that he knew how. I will never forget that.
Our family lost a good man today. As a father figure, he did so much for my Mother and us kids. He was also a wonderful grandather and did so much to make sure we were provided for. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
