Obituary of Richard C. Patterson
Richard Carl Patterson, age 78, of Tioga, PA, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 in Auburndale, FL. He was born November 13, 1939 in Tioga Junction, PA, a son of Raymond and Velma (Forrest) Patterson. He is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Annamae "Sally" N. (Smith) Patterson. Richard worked for Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post, NY (41 years) until 2001 when he retired. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Fire Department for 35 years; served in the Army Reserves; was a member of the Tioga Bowling League, Bass Club and Sportsmen's Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, NASCAR and Buffalo Bills fan.
In addition to his wife, Sally, he is survived by a son William Patterson and Nina Freeman of Mountain Top, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Steve Cousin of Murphy, NC; 3 brothers, Leonard, Edward and Donald, all of Tioga, PA; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Arlene and Gerald Price of Knoxville, PA, Sharon Loucks of Knoxville, and Geraldine Lehman; 4 grandchildren, Neva (Dee) Patterson, Natasha (Phil) Boyer, Sean Haroldand Lizzie (Sequoyah) Aquarian ; 3 great grandchildren, Mason, Taylor and Klaus and dearest friend Betsy Fairbanks. He was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Patterson.
