I loved Katie. She was like a second mother to me all through school. Lisa and Lori were my best friends. She will be missed terribly. I was just sitting on my back porch remembering when she use to come get me for work and we would sit on the back porch and talk before we had to go. I have so many memories of Katie that I will always cherish.
Our most sincere sympathy to Kate's family. We will always remember her hugs and smiles when we were together. I remember making her a 'doll cake' when I first met her, and she was thrilled!! (before cake decorating was 'the thing') She was a great cook, a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, sibling and a dear friend.
