I am so sorry to hear of your loss.
I went to school with Michael's older brother John Palmer at Pershing College, in Beatrice, NB. I was a friend . I visited him many times in Lumberville, PA. I am sorry to read of John's passing too,
Can you tell me please, how did John die? Any information on my old friend would be helpful.
thanks in advance for your help

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. The last I heard of him he was so happy and let me know he had just gotten married. He seemed so happy. I went through all the pictures and noticed three with Dick (his cousin) and one of Mike, Stev, Mike's friend and Dick taken on my dock. It was Mike , and the other three who build my steps down to the lake. So sorry once again.... Marilyn A Phillips

I first met Mike we attended attended Nebraska Wesleyan University (1968-70) where we performed at various college coffee house functions. We reconnected when he visited and then, returned to Pennsylvania and we again performed at local musical venues. His rendition of "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" was very entertaining!
Mike was a great friend and he will be missed. Our condolences to Susan and
the Palmer family. God bless you, Mike, as heaven now has a fine entertainer!

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this tribute to Dr. Palmer. I worked with him for several years at Northern Tier Counseling and knew him to be one of the best mentors of our trade I have ever met. He taught me so many of the clinical skills that I use to this day and his expertise was invaluable to me on a day to day basis. He was a tough and no nonsense kind of guy who at the same time possessed a dry and sarcastic sense of humor that he used in an understated way. He always focused on the priority which was what was best for the patient, even if his advise was hard to take. He was a leader who always challenged me to be a better therapist. He has been an inspiration to me and throughout the years there isn't a week that goes by that I don't credit him in my practice by saying to myself, "that's what Dr. Palmer taught me". I wish his family the best as they have lost a stellar person and hope time brings you healing.

This is highly irregular and I’m not sure how to send a private message... But I wanted all of Mikes children
To know I realize their heats are breaking and there are no words to describe how you will all miss him so very much in so many ways for many years to follow and I’m truly sorry for that.. I as well will miss him greatly. He was a great Dad and quite the character. This world will be quieter and lonelier and frankly more boring with the absence of his presence.
I thank you all for embracing me, my kids and my eldest grandson into your lives and accepting us. Jayden first said “I love you Dr Palmer” as we were in the car heading down the driveway after a visit at age 3 1/2 or so<3 Love & prayers to you all and your spouses
Susan❤️

Dr. Palmer was a fine person and friend. He was so supportive of our family and the kids we helped. His influence went beyond helping the kids and their environments and behaviors but also for me as a father. He helped more in this area than he was ever aware of and I wish I could thank him for his guidance. Perhaps one day I can. Prayers for the family. We lost a good one.
