Obituary of Frances C. Bolt

Frances "Fran" C. Bolt, age 75, of Millerton, PA, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at her home. She was born March 1, 1943 in Roseville, PA, a daughter of Merle and Caroline (Sherman) Avery. Fran was the wife of the late David F. Bolt who passed away in 1994. She was employed at Elmira College in the house keeping department before she retired. Fran was a member of the Gillett Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, geneology, cooking, flowers and quilting. Fran is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, William and Michele Bolt, Roger Bolt and Douglas and Jarose Bolt, all of Millerton, PA; 2 daughters, Sarah Johns of Mansfield, PA, Lisa McClain of Millerton, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Daisy and Kenneth Hicks of Mansfield, PA; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, David, a sister, Genevieve Updike, and a grandson, Jacob Johnson. A celebration of life with a dish-to-pass picnic in honor of Fran's life will be held on Sunday, July 22 at 1PM at the Mainesburg Community Center, Mainesburg, PA.
