Obituary of Margaret Arena

Margaret "Peg" (Wood) Arena, age 64, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away at Williamsport Hospital on July 12, 2018. She was born June 27, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of William and Virginia (Hoffman) Wood. Peg was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching baseball games and cowboys. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Peg is survived by her husband Joseph; two daughters, Theresa Arena and Julia Arena both of Wellsboro, PA; 12 grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Brandon, Joey, Paige, Deven, Crystal, Kayla, Jordan, Walter, Nevaeh, and Vincent; five great grandchildren Aiden, Gianna, Emma, Tanek, and Gannon; four brothers, William Wood, Michael (Lisa) Wood, Joe (Jackie) Wood, John (Jackie) Wood, all of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, Virginia (Metro) Komar, Patricia Wood, and Barbara (Larry) Vallcee, all of Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Christopher Arena on December 20, 2012, and a brother, Patrick Wood. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia, PA, with a Mass to follow at 10:00 A.M.
