Obituary of Susan Cleveland
Susan Cleveland, age 55, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 18, 1963 in Bethesda, MD, a daughter of Graydon and Edith (Mershimer) Fanning. Susan worked as an office assistant at the Penn Wells Hotel in Wellsboro. She attended the Niles Valley Methodist Church and was an avid reader who enjoyed her job, her dogs, gardening, spending time with family, attending events for the children and family reunions.
Susan is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Cleveland, two sons Garrett of Victor, NY, Dylan of Clarion, PA, a daughter Crystal Nestor of Greensburg, PA and her son Julian; siblings James (June) Fanning of Painted Post, NY, Robert Fanning of Tampa, FL, Rhonda Lacuzzo of Fort Collins, CO and David (Carol) Fanning of Fort Collins, CO. Nephew Chris and Paula Fanning and family; Niece Erin (Andy) Hughson and family.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Niles Valley United Methodist Church, 10991 Route 287 North, Wellsboro, PA. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Pastor Kristi Webster officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 US 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
