Obituary of Donald L. Irwin

Donald L. "Donnie" Irwin, age 75, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Carleton Senior Care. He was born March 6, 1943, in Blossburg, PA, son of George and Gertrude (Rice) Irwin. Donnie retired from Osram Sylvania as an electrician and enjoyed gardening, playing pool and bowling. Donnie is survived by his wife of 14 years Julie and his children David (Holly), Christopher, Joyce Breezee and Jessica Davenport, a step son Chris (Kirsten) Holleran; his sisters Shirley (Marx) Cressman, Geraldine Hemenway, and Patricia (Ed) Husted; grandchildren Candace, Lucas, Justin, Terry, Taylor, and great grandchildren Leilani and Jasmine. He was preceded in death by his brothers Hugh Irwin and Paul Irwin and grandson James Breezee. At the request of the family, no service will be held. Burial will take place at Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel to help with expenses.
