Obituary of Deborah Emmick

Deborah L. Emmick, age 60, of Nelson, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Robert Packer Hopital. She was born on August 17, 1957 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of James and Alice (Christian) Root. Deb was the wife of Donald R. Emmick. She had been employed at Weis Market as a Bakery Manager and previously worked at Wundies for several years. She loved to ride horses, spend time outdoors and with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; three sons, Mathew (Jessica) Root of Osceola Mills, PA, Donald (Amy) Emmick of Wellsboro, PA, Dennis Emmick of Nelson, PA; five grandchildren, Faith, Shianne, Trevor, Devon, Cody; two sisters, Ruth Mattison of Morris, PA, Brenda (Bill) Dennison of Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Todd McCarthy, Cindy Brown, Karen Potts, Kelly Dennison, Randy Dennison.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Sanctuary, 725 Gee Road, Tioga, PA 16946.
