Obituary of Joseph W. Brown
Joseph W. Brown, age 77, of Troy, PA, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of William and Lillian (Kilgallen) Brown. Joseph was the husband of Donna (Lee) Brown. He was employed with the City of Philadelphia as a Police Officer. Joseph was a US veteran having served in the Navy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the FOP Lodge #5 in Philadelphia.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Donna; three daughters, Barbara (Richard) Krumins of Chalfont, PA, Joanne Upcavage of Levittown, PA, Jeannie Brown of Troy, PA; a son, Joseph (Veronica) Brown of Philadelphia, PA; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth (Alice) Brown of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Nancy (Steve) Martin of Norriton, PA, Diane Szombathy of Cinnaminson, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patricia Brown; grandson, Joseph W. Brown III.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1PM to 2PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2PM with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
