Obituary of Helen G. Sherman

Helen G. Sherman, age 84, of Spring Hill, FL, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Green Home. She was born on May 5, 1934 in Lycoming County, the daughter of France B. and Annadel (Rauch) Shannon. She was the wife of the late Arthur L. Sherman. Prior to Helen’s retirement she was employed at Mansfield University as a Custodian.  She especially enjoyed holidays and loved to decorate for each special day.  She also enjoyed going on cruises and went on at least one every year for her birthday.   When she wasn’t decorating or on a cruise she enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading, playing computer games and catching up with friends and family on Facebook. 

Helen is survived by two sons, James (Carol) Brooks of Roaring Branch, PA, Earl (Judy) Brooks of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Nancy (Dale) Nauman of Mansfield, PA. She had nine grandchildren Travis (Erin) Nauman; Matthew (Emily) Nauman; Daniel (Brittany Lovejoy) Nauman; Christopher Brooks; Ryan (Jamie) Brooks; Heather (Shawn) Wallace; Andrea (Randal) Glick; Sommer(James) Gee; and Thomas Brooks.  She had 19 great grandchildren.  She also loved time spent with her dear friends; Florence Earl and Fee Chart both of St. Petersburg, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur L Sherman; three brothers, Charles, Robert, Carl Shannon.
