Obituary of Steven J. Healey
Steven J. Healey age 55 of Tioga, PA died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital in Elmira, NY. He was the husband of Pamela (Reiss) Healey. Steve was born on December 31, 1951 in Wellsboro, PA the son of Jessie and Gladys (Confer) Healey. He was a graduate of WACC. Steve was employed as a meat cutter at Prestons in Lawrenceville, PA. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter Allison. Steve was a former member of the Lawrenceville, Fire Dept., an EMT and had served as their treasurer. Steves favorite hobbies were hunting, farming and raising beef cattle.
Steve is survived by his wife Pamela, four daughters and a sonin-law Jennifer and Scott Brown of Tioga, PA, Debbie Rotsell of Annapolis, MD, Amy Rotsell of Lawrenceville, PA, Allison Healey of Tioga, PA, three grandchildren Connor, Collin and Kendall Brown, his mother Gladys French of Tioga, PA, a brother Gary Healey of Tioga, PA, a sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Charlie Jaynes of Lawrenceville, PA.
Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday, September 20, 2007 from 9:30 AM to 10 AM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA.
Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing on Thursday at 10 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert W. Strozyk officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions in Steves Memory may be made to the Allison Healey Educational Fund c/o First Citizens National Bank 15 S.
