Mrs.Strassburg has such a wonderful way of making her classes interesting and she was genuinely interested in seeing her students succeed. She had great humor and wit and often made me laugh. I have such fond memories of her and was very saddened to hear of her passing. She lived life to the fullest and I always admired that. Please accept my condolences.

To the Strassburg family,
I am sorry to read of your loss. I hope you are able to find comfort through God's word during this difficult time. In Job 14:14,15 we read of a wonderful hope of seeing our loved ones again on earth. It reads "If a man dies, can he live again? I will wait all the days of my compulsory service until my relief comes. You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." How comforting it is to know that God looks forward to bringing our loved ones back to life. I hope this had brought you some comfort during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Cindy

Mrs. Strassburg,
You were & will always be one of my favorite people. You were good to me from the first time I met you as a child. I remember how you pulled me aside in highschool & told me that you saw a lot of potential in me, that you believed in me, & that you cared about me with no judgement. It's people like you that kept me hanging on to some type of hope. You saw my struggles, my pain, & my questionable behavior but you NEVER judged me. Later on after highschool as I was struggling once again with an abusive relationship you used your way with words & life experience to again set me off with hope. You offered your approval for me to use you as a reference for jobs over the course of over 20 years. I was always proud to use your name & call you my friend. My prayers are with Jimmy & the family as they say farewell to an incredibly inspiring woman. Thank you.

One of my greatest joys being on Pine Island is the time I spent with Susan playing mahjong and listening to her insightful comments at our book club. She had a delightful wit and added so much to our discussions. She will be missed.
