Obituary of John H. Bradshaw
John H. Bradshaw, age 67, of Tioga, PA, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY. He was born June 8, 1950 in Elmira, NY, a son of Leon James and June (Bentley) Bradshaw. John was the husband of Janice (Meyer) Bradshaw. He worked for G.F.S. until he retired, and was a hotshot driver, yardman, janitor for Williamson Jr. Sr. High School, and over the road truck driver. John owned the Bradshaw pit in Tioga. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Elkland, PA; Tioga American Legion, serving as their commander two terms, Mansfield V.F.W., F&AM Lodge #373 in Tioga. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. John was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
John is survived by his wife, Janice; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, William "Billy" and Alaina Bradshaw of Tioga, PA, Leon II and Holly Bradshaw of Tioga, PA; a step-son, Richard (Autumn) Fenstermacher of Sabinsville, PA; 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Bradshaw of Westfield, PA, George (Kimberly) Donald of OH, Bill (Lori) Donald of Mansfield, PA, Michael (Teri) Donald of Mansfield; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Elsie (Larry) Axtell of Addison, NY, Roberta (Jeff) Grant of Elmira, NY; 7 grandchildren, Tasha, Savannah, Santana, Hunter, Bradyn, Parker and Willow; 4 great grandchildren, Candon, Averie, Brysen and Skylar. John was predeceased by 3 brothers, James Bradshaw, Donald Donald and Andy Donald; an infant step-son, Donald Porter.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Tom Howe officiating.
