Obituary of Richard Kirkpatrick

Richard W. Kirkpatrick, age 85, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 29, 1932 in Allentown, PA, a son of Irvin and Beatrice (Moyer) Kirkpatrick. Richard was the husband of Agnes (Barna) Kirkpatrick with whom they celebrated 17 years of marriage. He was employed at Bethlehem Steel as a machinist for 45 years. Richard was a US Veteran having served in the US Navy. He enjoyed playing poker, archery, hunting, and dancing. Richard is survived by his wife; Agnes Kirkpatrick; a son, Brian (Monica) Kirkpatrick of Slatington, PA; a step son, Richard G. Komishock: a daughter, Denise Kirkpatrick of Allentown, PA; a step-daughter, Donna (Eric) Schewe of Millerton, PA; four grandchildren, Kimberly, Matthew, Leah, Richard; a great granddaughter, Fiona; two brothers, Jeff (Cathy) Kirkpatrick of Bath,Pa , Gary (Diane) Kirkpatrick of Allentown, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Kirkpatrick; a step-son, Peter John Komishock. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 2PM to 4pm at the VFW Post 5010, 341 Centre Street Freeland, PA.
