Obituary of Melissa J. Franck

Melissa J. Franck, age 55, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 1, 1963 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Charles Horning and Phyllis (Erway) Horning. Melissa was the wife of Kevin Franck and they celebrated 34 years of marriage on December 16. She owned and operated Covington Country Market in Covington, PA. Melissa was a member of the Arnot Sportman's Club and the Morris Run Legion. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her mother, Phyllis of Wyalusing, PA; two sons, Timothy and Lucas Franck both of Eugene, OR; a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Ed Scheetz of Rome, PA; a nephew, Cory (Becky) Horning of Middlebury, PA; a great niece, Rilyne Horning of Middlebury, PA. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles and a brother Donald Horning.

Honoring Melissa's wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
