Obituary of Ernest H. Young III

Ernest H. Young III, age 54, of Wellsboro, PA, died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at his home. He was born October 17, 1963 in Carnegie, PA, a son of Ernest H. Jr. and Alice (Holloren) Young. Ernest was the husband of Mary (Marble) Young and was an electrical contractor and worked at Phillips Bros in Glenmore, PA and Shell Gas Drilling Co. He enjoyed fishing, baseball, and spending time with his numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie was member of the Church of the New Covenant, Quoit Club in Pottstown, and the Friendship Fire Co, Royersford, PA. Ernest is survived by his wife, Mary; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, William (Betty) White of Wellsboro, PA, Shawn (Katelyn) White of Coudersport PA, and Jeremiah (Shannon) Wimbrough of Coudersport, PA; 3 grandchildren, Arianna L. White, Sadie White, Shawn Lewis White, Jr. 4 brothers and a sister-in-law, Lawrence (Bridgett) Young of San Diego, CA, Leonard Young of Royersford, PA, Steven Young of York, PA, Joseph Seifrit of York, PA ; 6 sisters and brothers-in-law, Lorraine (Jim) Bender of Pittsburgh, PA, Laura (Harry) McKelvy of Colonial Heights, VA, Mary Parke of Bowling Green, FL, Sara Barrette of Holt, MO, Iona Partlow of Pottstown, PA, Cassie Seifrit of York, PA,; special nieces, Jessica "Jennie" Bowers, Ariel Bowers, Sierra Bowers and several other nieces and nephews; sister and brothers-in-law, Roger (April) Marble, Wellsboro, PA, Steve (Linda) Marble, Otto, NC, Oliver Marble, Blossburg, PA, Cathy Gotschall, Blossburg, PA, Quincy Root of Sayre, PA, Flo Root of Elmira, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a step- sister, Irene Bowers. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 P.M. with The Rev. Janis Yskamp officiating.
