Obituary of Mary K. Loomis

Mary K. Loomis, age 75, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 2, 1942 in Bay City, MI, a daughter of Lester and Marie (Stepanski) Porter. Mary was the wife of Thomas H. Loomis with whom they shared 51 years of marriage. She was employed as a grade school teacher for Southern Tioga School District. Mary enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, boating, softball, and entertaining her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband, Thomas; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Dawn Loomis of Mansfield, PA, Todd Loomis and Adrienne Fleek of Anchorage, Alaska, Guy Loomis of Mansfield, PA; six grandchildren, Kyle, Samantha, Megan, Peyton, Gavin, Sydney; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Karen Gillespie and Carole Halaka both of Bay City, MI. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bryan Wright as celebrant.
