Obituary of Ruth E. Tice

Ruth E. (McKay) Tice, age 96, of Mansfield, PA, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 27, 1921 in Shunk, Sullivan County, PA, a daughter of Eugene and Dora (Hess) McKay. Ruth was the wife of the late Thomas E. Tice who died in 2008. She and her husband were farmers who owned and operated their own farm in Mansfield. Ruth enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, and mowing the lawn. She is survived by three sons, Thomas G. (Linda A.) Tice of Mansfield, PA, David W. (Mary) Tice of Mansfield, PA, Jack L. (Joyce) Tice of Boise, ID; three daughters, Barbara A. (Phil) Parker of Tioga, PA, Linda M. Tice of Mansfield, PA, Sandy L. Tice of Rutland, VT; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; a daughter, Ruthadele Smith; a grandson, Shane Michael Smith; six brothers and sisters.
