Obituary of Francis E. Wojcik
Francis E. Wojcik, age 85, of Liberty, PA, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home. He was born June 16, 1932 in Elmira, NY, a son of Frank and Caroline (Gublo) Wojcik. Francis was a tool and die maker at Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg before retiring in 2000. Prior to this he was employed by Jones and Brague Mining in Morris Run, PA. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Blossburg, the Hillside Rod and Gun Club in Blossburg, the Arnot Sportsmen's Club, the Wheel Inn in Roaring Branch, and was an avid hunter.
Francis is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa Wojcik of Liberty, PA, and Michelene Wojcik and Russell Horning of Shinglehouse, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Julia Walkowiak, Leona Chaborek, Pauline Robinson, Louise Janowski, Joseph Wojcik, Walter Wojcik.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Bryan Wright as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Blossburg, PA.
