Obituary of Carol Joyce DeLong

Carol Joyce DeLong, age 55, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, August 17, 2007 at her home. Carol was born on March 28, 1952 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Dorsey and Frances Alberta (VanOrder) Brown Wilcox. Carol is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Wade and Karen DeLong of Holiday, PA, Matthew (fianc, Jubelyn) DeLong of Wellsboro, PA, Benjamin DeLong of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter, Amanda (fianc, Tony Stitely) DeLong of Arnot, PA; two grandchildren, Ian Hulbert and Kadence Stitely; six sisters, Anna Rose Huddleston, of GA, Shirley Joan (Colie) Smith of Tioga, PA, Janet May Packer of Troy, PA, Darlene Alberta (Allen) Hannon of Virginia, Phyllis Jean (John) Zimmers of Middlebury, PA, Margaret Ann (Hugh) Blalock of Texas. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie Lee, Norman, Dorsey Brown, Jr. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
