Obituary of Mildred Ethel Rooks

Mildred Ethel Rooks, age 91, of Covington, PA, died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 25, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of Russell Marino and Ethel (Alloway) Clark. Mildred was the wife of the late Robert James Rooks, Sr. who died in 1966. She enjoyed bingo and watching humming birds. Mildred loved her Philadelphia Eagles. She is survived by two sons, Michael Joseph Clark of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Bruce David Rooks of Covington, PA; a daughter, Renee Dolores Rooks of West Monroe, NY; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; three sons, Ricky James Rooks, David Wayne Rooks, Robert James Rooks, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Christian, Sebastian; a brother, William Clark; a half-sister, Marie Clark. In keeping with Mildred's wishes there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
