Obituary of Richard Ross
Richard Leon Ross Sr. age 68 of Trout Run, PA died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Nila (Campbell) Ross. Leon was born on September 26, 1938 in Trout Run, PA, the son of Charles and Erma (Caldwell) Ross. Leon was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He had been an employee for the Darling Valve Manufacturing in Williamsport, PA. Leon was a self employed farmer and the owner and operator of Rosss Custom Meat Processing. His favorite past times were hunting and spending time in the outdoors.
Leon is survived by his wife Nila, two sons Richard L. (Kelli) Ross Jr. and Calvin L. (Sandy) Ross all of Trout Run, PA, two daughters and a son-in-law Barbara D (Michael) Greenway, Sue Livermore all of Williamsport, PA, grandchildren Scott, Staci, and Brion Livermore, Tashina and NaKoma Ross, three great grandchildren Mea and Bailey Livermore, Louis Mercantino IV, and a sister Clara Mae Penny Gramling of Woolrich, PA. He was preceded in death by an infant twin daughter Brenda Lee Ross in 1958, brothers; Donald, Kenneth, Dale, Willard Ross, and sisters; Mary Litzelman and Alice Davis.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 2PM at the White Pine United Methodist Church 15 Campbell Rd. Trout Run, PA with the Rev. Harry Blanchard PhD.,D.Min. Burial will be in White Pine Summit Cemetery. The Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S.
