Hey, there good ol' fella
I cannot believe that it has been a year and some odd months that you have left this world, your home I wish that I could get your love taps from your cane just one more time, and see that mischievous smile on your face after you would tap me with it. You always made me smile no matter what even when I would break down at the scent of Aunt Karen, you always knew how to make someone smile. Having a bad day around you was impossible you made everyone feel loved, extra loved for the ones who needed it, I always enjoyed the dinners that you would make us have with you.
Just one more day, Is what I wish I could have with you, I would just talk your ear off, and tell you all the things that I have done wrong and all the things that I have done right, I know that you would be so proud of me, and even upset with the wrong. But, at the end of it I know that you would still love me, you always made me feel that love when I was around you, you where definitely one of the most respected men in my life, you were always happy. I always enjoyed everything that involved you, there was no time to be upset, because you always turned my frowns upside down!! Bernard, I love you more than you could ever imagine.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. While I did not know Bernie personally, I too have suffered the loss of a loved one, and the pain can seem overwhelming. However, I found comfort in the Bible's promise for the future. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our lost loved ones! I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow

My heart is heavy at this time for Donnie. Bernie was a great guy and was so very proud of Donnie for all of his accomplishments. Bernie and Karen raised him into the kind and gentle guy he is today. He was proud of all his Grandchildren and was the best "Papa" to all of them. My sympathy goes out to Bernie's family at this time. He was the best Brother-in-law I could ever ask for because he loved my Sister till the end. Rest in peace Bernie until we meet again.
