Obituary of Ruth H. Morgan

Ruth H. Morgan, age 93, of Troy, PA, died on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Bradford County Manor. She was born on January 23, 1924 in Dubois, PA, a daughter of James and Clara (Holt) Brian. Ruth was the wife of the late Robert E. Morgan Sr., who died on March 4, 1983. She was employed at Paper Magic for 26 years. Ruth enjoyed her family, bowling, softball, and crossword puzzles. She is survived by two sons; Robert "Bob" Morgan, Jr. of Troy, PA, Richard "Dick" (Rosie) Morgan of Troy, PA; three daughters, Sandy (Roger) Harkness of Troy, PA, Bonnie (Garth) Nash of Troy, PA, Gail (John) Bryington of Ogdensburg, PA; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; a daughter Patricia Rhine in March 2015; two granddaughters, Shelly Holdren in October 2012 and Debbie Stick; ten brothers and sisters. A private funeral service will be held at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 57 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
