Obituary of Karen Weddleton

Karen Weddleton, age 64, of Mansfield, PA, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. She was born September 21, 1953 in Wareham, MA, a daughter of William Dickess and Virginia (Ames) Wean. Karen worked for Tioga County Human Services as a caregiver. She was an artist, and avid reader, enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, cleaning and doing crafts. Karen is survived by her step-mother, Anita Dickess; a son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Amanda Weddleton of Dover, TN; a daughter, Janet Dauphinais of Largo, FL; 7 grandchildren, Emily, John, Ashley, Suzanne, Trisha, William and Andrew; 4 great grandchildren, Jacob, Mailee, Wyatt and Wesley; and a beloved canine friend, Pixie. She was predeceased by a brother, William Dickess, Jr. in 1993. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 4:00 P.M. at the River of Life Church, Wellsboro, PA.
