Obituary of Virginia Wood
Virginia P. Wood, age 83, of Troy, PA, died on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Robert Packer Hospital. She was born on December 9, 1933 in Mountain Lake, PA, a daughter of Elmer and Alene (Carmen) Weed. Virginia worked for Eureka/Paper Magic for many years. She was a member of the American Legion in Troy. Virginia enjoyed playing bingo, lottery tickets, and bowling.
Virginia is survived by two sons, Roger (Michelle) Wood, Sr. of Troy, PA, Ronald (Linda) Wood, Sr. of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; a step-daughter, Donna Stickler of Elkland, PA; eight grandchildren, Roger Wood, Jr., Brandi Ketter, Shelly Wood, Bille Jo Masek, Ronald Wood, Jr., Gregory Rightmire, Brittany Rightmire, Matthew Smith; two brothers, Richard (Marion) Weed, Max (Darlene) Weed both of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; a sister, Joyce Seymour of Columbia Cross Roads; two sisters-in-law, Janet Weed, Gracie Weed; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Kenneth, Charles, and Gerald Weed; a sister-in-law, Cathy Weed.
In keeping with Virginia's wishes services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Middlebury Union Cemetery, Keeneyville, PA Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
